We collect minimal personal information necessary to provide our service. This includes:

• Name: To personalize your experience and library.

• Email Address: Obtained via third-party authentication providers (such as Google and Apple) for account creation and identity verification.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your user-generated music sequences, song library data, and application preferences are stored securely using Google Cloud (Firestore) infrastructure. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access or disclosure.

4. Technical Data & Logging

Like most cloud-based services, our infrastructure (Google Cloud/Firebase) automatically collects certain technical information when you interact with the app. This may include:

• IP addresses and device identifiers.

• Timestamps of login/logout events.

• Basic usage statistics to help us improve performance.

5. AI & Third-Party Processing

Jamprovise utilizes Artificial Intelligence to assist in music creation. Text-based commands you enter into the "Jambot" interface are sent to Google's Gemini AI API for natural language processing.

Important: We do not use your personal data, chat history, or generated musical sequences to train foundational AI models. Your creative output belongs to you. Usage of these features is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

6. Google API Limited Use Disclosure

Jamprovise's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Children's Privacy

Jamprovise is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it immediately.

8. International Data Transfers

Your information, including personal data, is processed at our operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. This means your data is stored on servers located in the United States (via Google Cloud). By using the service, you consent to this transfer.

9. Service Providers

We employ third-party companies to facilitate our service:

• Google Cloud/Firebase: For hosting, database, and authentication.

• Google Gemini AI: For natural language processing and musical generation.

• Google Analytics 4 (GA4): For anonymous behavioral analytics and product improvement.

We use strictly necessary session cookies provided by Firebase Authentication. These cookies are essential for keeping you logged in as you navigate the application and ensuring your data remains private and accessible only to you.
